Salus is in development. It is not generally available, there is no sign-up, and it is not being offered to the public. This page documents what Salus is and how it is built to handle health information.
What it is
Your medical history is scattered across the health systems that treated you, and most of it is written for clinicians rather than for you. Salus brings that history together and makes it readable.
It works with the records your health system already holds — conditions, medications, allergies, lab results, vital signs, immunisations, procedures, encounters, and clinical notes — alongside the things you record yourself: symptoms, how you are feeling, what changed and when. You can then ask questions about your own history in plain language rather than reading it as a chart.
How it connects to your records
Salus reads health records over SMART on FHIR, the standard interface health systems publish for exactly this purpose, using HL7 FHIR R4.
- Only with your authorization. You sign in to your own health system and approve access there. The approval is something you grant, and it is yours to withdraw.
- Read-only, by construction. Salus is registered for read and search access only. No create, update, or delete capability is requested or held. It cannot write to your medical record, change it, or delete anything in it.
- Scoped to you. The access it asks for is patient-scoped — your own record, not a clinician's view of other people's.
What it is not
Salus is a diary and a reading aid. It is not a medical device, and it is not regulated as one. It does not diagnose, treat, or prescribe, and it does not give medical advice. Nothing it produces is a clinical judgement or a substitute for one.
It is not an emergency service and is not monitored. If you think you may have a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services or your clinician directly.
Decisions about your health belong with you and the people treating you. Salus is there to help you come to those conversations knowing what is in your own record.
Privacy
Trapezia's privacy statement covers this website and how to reach us: trapezia.ai/privacy. This website collects nothing, and no health information is submitted through it.
Salus itself handles health information, which the website does not. Before Salus is offered to anyone, a privacy addendum specific to it — covering what is stored, where, for how long, and who processes it — will be published at /salus/privacy, alongside the company-wide statement rather than replacing it.
